On Friday, March 27, 2015 at approximately 1844 hours CPD units responded to the area of B Street and North College Street for a report of a careless driver going at high rates of speed and swerving on the roadway while traveling East on Waggoners Gap Road into the Borough of Carlisle. CPD units observed a vehicle matching the description of the careless driver proceeding through the stop sign at N. College St. and B St. without first stopping almost striking another vehicle. CPD units made contact with the operator who was a juvenile.
On 3/27/15 at 2250 hours the Carlisle Police Dept was dispatched to the area of S Hanover St at Pomfret St for a report of an accident. The accident was then located in the 1st blk of E Pomfret St. The accident invloved a grey in color F150 and a black volvo. The driver of the F150 was identified as Michael Mitchell, of Carlisle. Mr. Mitchell was driving his Ford F150 in a west bound direction in the 1st blk of E Pomfret St when he got to close to a parked car and struck it in the rear driver side.
On Friday, 3/27/15 at approx 2345 hrs, the victim and a friend were sitting in their vehicle at Biddle Mission park. The passenger side door was open, and while there, a male wearing dark clothes and a mask ran up to the vehicle. The male stole a purse that was on the passenger side floor when the door was open. The purse and its contents were recovered on 3/28/15, but $500 was missing from the wallet.
On 3-11-15 at approximately 1330 hours, Steelton Police Detectives did arrest a Juvenile on a Felony Warrant for Robbery. This was a result of a several month investigation from Robbery Cases that occurred back in the beginning of the year. The Juvenile was charged as an adult due to the seriousness of the allegations. The juvenile was arraigned at MDJ Kenneth A Lenker 12-2-02. $50,000 bail was set. The juvenile was transported to Dauphin County Prison.
On 3/10/15 at approximately 0858 hours, Steelton Police stopped a vehicle for inspection violations in the 500 blk of North Front Street, Steelton. The driver was identified as Abigail Gonzalez. Gonzalez was driving with a suspended license and had an active outstanding warrant. She was arrested on scene and transported to Dauphin County Booking Center. A citation for Driving Suspended was filed through MDJ Kenneth A Lenker 12-2-02
