On 05-26-15 at approximately 3:30pm Ephrata Police received information regarding a wanted person from Bucks County.   Ephrata Police picked up a John Francis Hope 21/M from Aster Way, Newtown, PA (Bucks County) in the 1100 block of South State Street.  Hope was wanted by the Bucks County Sheriff's Department regarding outstanding drug offenses.  Hope was taken to Lancaster County Prison on the warrants pending extradition to Bucks County. 

On Tueday, 5/26/15, Lancaster Mennonite High School officials reported that a .22 caliber rimfire short cartridge was found on the floor of a classroom.

The NLCRPD filed charges of criminal mischief against a 17 year old male after the male was alleged to have broken three chairs in the classroom. Total damage to replace the chairs is $694.18.

Ephrata Police filed Theft by Unlawful Taking Charges against Cameron M. Booth, 24, of Akron.  Booth, a former cashier at K-Mart, 1127 South State Street, Ephrata Township, is accused of stealing $270 from the cash register over the past month.
