Someone around the time of 1950 hrs, on May 12, 2015, set fire to a wooden stockade fence and two trees. The fire was put out by fire dept. Damage is estimated at around $500. 

Case Status:

Ephrata Police were called to the neighborhood park in the 300 Block of Jeff Avenue for a male stumbling around.  Police located Jordan R. Kellander M/22 of Ephrata stumbling in the rear yard of adjacent to the park.   Kellander was intoxicated on an unknown substance.   He was cited for Public Drunkenness.  He was released to a drug rehabilitation facility.  

Ephrata Police arrested Frank V. Helman 40/M for being a fugitive from justice.    Helman formerly of Ephrata was wanted by Pennsylvania State Probation and Parole after violation of his parole once he walk away from the Adapt Program in Reading.    Helman was located at the intersection of West Main Street and Market Streets at approximately 1600hrs.   He was turned over to Pa.

Ephrata Police arrested Matthew S. Patterson on Monday 5-11-15 at the Ephrata Wal-Mart in the 800 Block of East Main St after Wal-Mart loss prevention reported they stopped him as he is to have alleged to walk out of of the store with paying for over $400.00 in items.     Ephrata Police arrested Patterson for Retail Theft took him to Lancaster Central Arraignment where he was arraigned on the retail theft charge and released on $25,000.00 bail.
