UPDATE - 10/20/2020 - Both Actors were identified as juvenile males and will be charged.
The Pennsylvania State Police Troop J – Lancaster received a request on 09/13/20 at approximately 1704 hours from Lancaster County Radio to assist the Lancaster City Bureau of Police with crowd control due to a large crowd that was forming at the scene of an officer involved shooting.
The shooting occurred in the 300 block of Laurel Street, Lancaster City, Lancaster County PA. Multiple units from PSP Lancaster and other county agencies arrived to assist.
PSP Lancaster marked Patrol Unit J1-15 was parked and unoccupied in the area of Laurel Street and Union Street, Lancaster City, Lancaster County PA at this time.
During the unrest Members of the Pennsylvania State Police were able to monitor the activities of the crowd that had formed via live streams on online platforms to include but not limited to Facebook.com, Twitter.com, Instagram.com, and Youtube.com.
The pictured suspects were observed damaging J1-15 by shattering the windows and denting the body panels.
