UPDATE: As a result of media coverage, the suspect in these incidents was identified yesterday as Matthew Thomas Yanczak, 21, of Indiana, PA.

Yanczak was located and charged with two counts of Retail Theft graded as a summary offense. Charges were filed before Magisterial District Judge Susanne Steffee.

The Pennsylvania State Police, Troop A – Indiana Barracks is attempting to identify the attached pictured male suspect who failed to scan merchandise at Walmart in White Township, Indiana County.

On June 6, 2021 at 4:12 p.m. and again on June 7, 2021 at 9:38 p.m., the suspect, who is shown with several distinct tattoos, under-rang various merchandise.

In total, $88.12 in various merchandise was reported stolen.
