Nathan Quidetto has been charged in Tracy Squib’s death
. He’s facing multiple charges, including homicide and discharge of a firearm into an occupied structure. Quidetto claimed he thought he was shooting at the home of someone from a drug deal gone wrong, not the home of a 52-year-old Squib.
Pennsylvania State Police, Troop A - Kiski Valley Barracks, responded to the residence of 212 Pandora Road, Derry Township, Westmoreland County on Monday, 07/20/20 at 0400 hours for a report of a shooting.
Upon arrival it was discovered that Tracy M. SQUIB, an adult 52-year-old female, mother and wife, had been shot.
This incident occurred as a bullet, which had been fired from outside of the residence, penetrated the wall of the structure and struck Tracy as she was lying in her bed.
Squib called 911 at about 4 a.m. Monday to report that she had been shot in the chest in her Derry Township home, police in Westmoreland County said. She was taken to a local hospital, where she succumbed to her injuries. Her death is now being investigated as a homicide
Police are now pleading with neighbors and businesses to look at their surveillance video to see if anything seems out of place.
