Media Release #: 1788 - Robbery, Unknown Suspect - West Chester, Chester County, PA

The West Chester Police Department continues their investigation into a robbery that occurred as the victim was leaving Walgreens, located at 300 North Bradford Ave., West Chester, Chester County, PA. 

On Sunday, March 30, 2014, at 7:45 p.m., a female was attacked leaving the Walgreens Store.  The unknown suspect attacked the victim and took her wallet containing cash and credit cards.  The female victim did attempt to fight off her attacker and did strike the suspect numerous times.  The West Chester Police Department is asking for anyone that was in the area and witnessed the attack/robbery to contact the West Chester Criminal Division. 

The unknown suspect was seen leaving a store and his picture was captured.  The unknown suspect is either a White or Hispanic male in his 30's, shorter than 5'8" with a large fit build.  Black hair with an unbraided ponytail and no facial hair.  The unknown suspect was wearing dark clothing.
