Media Release 1781, Ray Gricar, Missing Person – Bellefonte, Centre County, PA Ray Frank Gricar – AKA: Ray Lange and Ray Gray, DOB: 10/09/1945, Age at time of disappearance: 59, White/Male, Height: 6’0”, Weight: 175 lbs., Hair: brown/graying, Eyes: Green, Wears Glasses -Last seen wearing a blue fleece jacket, jeans, and sneakers- Ray Gricar was originally from the Cleveland, OH area. Ray Gricar was the District Attorney of Centre County, PA, at the time of his disappearance. He was planning to retire at the end of 2005, with 20 years of service. Ray Gricar was 59 years old at the time of his disappearance. On April 15, 2005, Ray Gricar did not go to the office but phoned his paramour at approximately 11:30 a.m., and advised her he was taking a drive in the Penns Valley area of Centre County, on State Route 192. He was also going to Lewisburg, PA, to spend some time at the antique shops there. Ray Gricar’s paramour arrived home from work at approximately 5:00 p.m., and he was not there. She became increasingly concerned as she was not able to contact him throughout the evening. She then contacted police to report him missing. Ray Gricar’s vehicle (2004 White over Red Mini Cooper with PA Registration) was discovered near the Street of Shops in Lewisburg, PA, on April 16, 2005. To date there have been no confirmed sightings or contacts with Ray Gricar.
