Pennsylvania State Police Troop R – Blooming Grove Barracks Troop responded to 128 Estates Road, Palmyra Twp., for a report of 2 Males entering the residence and taking over $20,000.
The victim he relates that 2 males in their 30’s approached his door and showed paperwork that they had a warrant for his arrest because he had purchased and scrapped a vehicle that contained stolen firearms.
The victim related that the males had badges, pancake holsters, wore blue latex gloves and identified themselves as ATF agents.
The victim eventually let the males into his residence whereupon one suspect went to the kitchen with the victim and the second male went to the master bedroom, went directly to the top left drawer, and removed a total of $24,405.
No other areas were disturbed or searched, and no other drawers or items were taken.
The victim advises that the suspects would not allow him to read the paperwork and one suspect became agitated when his wife also asked to review the alleged warrant.
Upon review of surveillance footage, it was determined that one suspect is white male in his 40’s or 50’s and the second male is a black male.
The suspects were observed parking in the driveway in a Black or Dark Blue Mazda Van.
Neighborhood canvass yielded that the suspects’ vehicle was observed in the driveway of the victim and had no registration plate on the rear.
