Pennsylvania State Police Troop E – Franklin responded to a residence on SR 8 in the village of Kaneville, Cornplanter Township, Venango County on Friday, 05/22/2021 for the report of a shots fired toward a residence.

Actor(s) arrived at the scene between 0145-0230 hours in an unknown make/model vehicle, stopped along the roadway and shot multiple rounds from the roadway, striking the victim’s house.

The vehicle then fled the scene traveling toward the city of Oil City.   

Upon arrival, troopers located recently spent shell casings along the roadway.   

Two victims reside within the residence.
