The Pennsylvania State Police Troop K – Philadelphia Station responded on Sunday, December 13th, 2020 at 2238 hours, to I-95 Southbound in the area of Girard Avenue (exit 23), Philadelphia City, Philadelphia County, for what was initially labeled a vehicle crash with injuries.
Upon arrival, responding Troopers located a victim on the highway and determined he was suffering from a gunshot wound.
The Pennsylvania State Police is requesting the public’s assistance regarding information on this shooting investigation.
The victim’s vehicle was identified as a red Subaru hatchback with damage to the driver’s side door.
The suspect vehicle is described as a dark colored Chevrolet sedan which was last seen fleeing the scene of the incident south on I-95.
