The Pennsylvania State Police Troop E - Erie station responded on 10/02/2021 to Best Buy at 6650 Peach Street, Summit Township, Erie County at approximately 1400 hours for a report of a retail theft.

The pictured W/N-M had selected two Ring Video Doorbell 3's valued at $179.99 and carried the two items around the store, ultimately removing the spider security devices from each by pulling them off.

One of the items was concealed in his backpack and he continued carrying the other one.

A sales employee approached and spoke with the male for a few moments before the male explained that he had brought in the second item with him when he entered.

The employee observed as he placed the second item into his backpack and exited the store.

The male left the area in an unknown direction on a red bicycle.
