PA State Police Troop D - Butler Barracks is investigating a counterfeit currency incident. 
On 05/23/2022 at approximately 1856 hours, the pictured suspect was seen entering the Dollar General located at 1053 New Castle Road in Franklin Township, Butler County.
The pictured male entered the store and purchased a Green Dot reloadable prepaid visa gift card using five (5) counterfeit $100 bills displaying two different serial numbers on each bill.
The money was removed from the card within 20 minutes of leaving the store. No vehicle description available.

PSP-Butler took a similar incident the week prior with the same UNIDENTIFIED suspect.
