NEW EVIDENCE IN COLD CASE HOMICIDE BY ARSON OF PATRICIA WOLL - Damascus Twp., Wayne County - DO YOU KNOW ANYTHING?

Pennsylvania State Police Troop R - Honesdale responded on August 28, 1997 at 0130 hours for a homicide investigation at River Road, Damascus Twp., Wayne County.

The Wayne County Communication Center received a report of a residential structure fire at a residence located on River Road. 

After local Fire Departments suppressed the fire, the remains of a female were discovered inside of the residence. 

The victim was identified as Patricia WOLL, 43 years of age. 

A detailed investigation was conducted by the Pennsylvania State Police.  The fire was ruled, arson and the manner of WOLL’S death was ruled homicide. 

UPDATE 2020: Several new investigatory leads and evidence have been uncovered and are activity being pursued by Investigators.  The Pennsylvania State Police, Honesdale Criminal Investigation Unit is asking the public for assistance.
