McDonald Borough Police are investigating the disappearance of 32-year-old Steven Paul McEwen who has been reported missing since August 2019 by a family member.

The last communication was by phone in August 2019 and the victim made suicidal comments during the conversation.

The victim is a known drug user.  He was from the Pittsburgh, PA area and had become homeless after losing his job.

He was last living in a tent in the woods in McDonald, PA.

McEwen is described as a white male, 5’7”, 210-220lbs, red hair (possibly shoulder length), beard and blue eyes.  He has freckles on his face and a serenity prayer tattoo on his left forearm.

McEwen goes by the nickname Polar Bear.
