Media Release #2405, Burlgary, Unknown Suspect – Pleasantville, Bedford County, PA



The Pennsylvania State Police, Troop G, Bedford, continue their investigation of a burglary that occurred at Alum Bank Pit Stop, located at 4187 Quaker Valley Road, Pleasantville, Bedford County, PA.  

On December 17, 2018, at approximately 12:32 a.m., an unknown white male suspect, approximately 6’0” in height, wearing a dark hooded sweatshirt, and blue jeans, forced entry into the Alum Bank Pit Stop, through a locked door.  The unknown suspect then attempted to remove a safe from the building, but failed, and left the safe at the scene.  The suspect then fled the scene in an unknown direction.  A witness related there was a light green Ford Escort parked along SR96 North, prior to the time of the burglary and was gone a short time later.  The driver’s side door or fender was painted white.
