Media Release #2385, Homicide Victim Caralee LaLaine Pensyl, Unknown Suspect(s) – Lower Nazareth Township, Northampton County, PA



The Pennsylvania State Police, Troop M, Criminal Investigation Assessment Unit, continue their investigation of the homicide of Caralee LaLaine Pensyl.

On the afternoon of December 12, 1987, the victim’s nude, decomposed body was found in a cornfield off Green Pond Road (1/4 mile south of Hecktown Road) in Lower Nazareth Township, Northampton County, PA.  Caralee LaLaine Pensyl was reported missing by her husband on November 25, 1987, who related that she left on her own volition.  Caralee was last seen alive by a friend on October 20, 1987. 

The twenty-one-year-old mother of two resided on a farm with her husband in Harmony Township, Warren County, New Jersey, and assigned to the New York Life Insurance Company jobsite in Lebanon, NJ.
