Media Release #2280, Wanted – Vincente Lopez, Homicide – East Marlborough Township, Chester County, PA



The Pennsylvania State Police, Troop J, Avondale, continue their search for Vincente Lopez.

On Friday, July 31, 1987, Juan Lopez (now deceased) and Vincente Lopez pulled up in an orange Chevrolet Nova at a mushroom workers’ living quarters which was located on Schoolhouse Road, ½ mile north of Route 1 in East Marlborough Township, Chester County.  Vincente Lopez was the passenger in the Chevrolet Nova.  Vincente met the victim at the scene and an argument ensued.  Vincente pulled out a gun and a struggle ensued.  Vincente shot the victim once in the torso area. Vincente then shot the victim additional times, killing him.

Vincente Lopez is also wanted for another Homicide in Joliet City, Illinois, from 1979.  Vincente Lopez’s location is unknown.  During this timeframe, Vincente Lopez was married to Elene Vazquez and had a daughter, Rosa Linda Lopez.
