The Pennsylvania State Police, Troop G, Lewistown, continue their investigation of a kidnapping and sexual assault.
On Sunday, May 27, 2018, at approximately 4:31 p.m., the victim’s father contacted PSP Lewistown to report his 16-year-old daughter missing from their residence in Mifflin Borough, Juniata County. After troopers spoke to the victim’s father, they checked the area and was unable to located her. Family members also checked the area and had negative results locating her. The victim had her cellphone on her, but it was turned off. At approximately 7:44 p.m., the victim’s mother received a phone call from her daughter’s friend. The mother learned that the victim was at McDonalds at the Walmart Plaza located in Lewistown, Granville Township, Mifflin County. Troopers responded to the location and located the victim who was hysterical and crying. The victim advised the troopers she was struck on the head and dropped off at McDonalds. The victim also believed she was sexually assaulted.
The victim reported she was outside alone at her residence around 4:00 p.m., when a black truck pulled into the alley behind her residence. A white male with a dark beard wearing a black hat asked her if she knew how to get to Lewistown. The unknown suspect got out of the truck and hit her on the head. The victim blacked out and woke up in the back seat of the truck. The victim looked up and seen a street sign that read “State College.” The victim went back to sleep and woke up at McDonalds in Lewistown. The unknown suspect told the victim to get out of the truck and handed her cellphone back to her. The unknown suspect left in an unknown direction.
