Media Release #2254, Burglary & Retail Theft, Unknown Suspect(s) – Huntington Township, Luzerne County, PA



The Pennsylvania State Police, Troop P, Shickshinny, continue their investigation of a burglary and theft that occurred at Deer Oak Lounge, 1869 SR 239, Huntington Township, Luzerne County.

On January 21, 2018, at approximately 7:04 a.m., an unknown suspect broke into the Deer Oak Lounge by smashing a side window.  The unknown suspect went directly to an area where the owner of the business kept money.  The unknown suspect removed approximately $1,286.00 in cash and then fled the scene.  The unknown suspect was wearing blue jeans, dark colored sweatshirt, and sneakers.  The unknown suspect is believed to be a female.  It is also possible the unknown suspect had some familiarity with the business.
