Media Release #2162, Arson & Criminal Mischief, Unknown Suspect(s) – Franklin Township, Chester County, PA



The Pennsylvania State Police, Troop J, Avondale, continue their investigation of multiple incidents of arson and criminal mischief. 

On April 1, 2017, and August 20, 2017, during the overnight hours, an unknown suspect used small incendiary devices to blow up and destroy mail boxes at multiple locations in Franklin Township, Chester County, PA.  The unknown suspect has been observed on a small CC dirt bike, unknown make and model.  The unknown suspect is described as a white/male, late teens or twenties.  He was last seen wearing a light-colored shirt and shorts.
