Media Release #2080, Armed Robbery, Unknown Suspect – Woodlyn, Ridley Township, Delaware County, PA



On Wednesday, June 7, 2017, at 2:20 a.m., Ridley Township Police received a report of an armed robbery at the Wawa Store located at 510 North Fairview Road, in the Woodlyn Section of Ridley Township.  A black/male unknown suspect was wearing all black with a mask on and backpack, armed with a handgun was last seen running from the store north on Fairview Road. 

The unknown suspect entered the store with the handgun pointed at the employee and had him empty the two registers into a camo backpack.  The unknown suspect then fled the store with approximately $500.00 in U.S. Currency.

The unknown suspect is described as a black male, 6’0”, wearing a black zip up hooded jacket with pockets on the chest, black pants, black shoes, black ski mask with only the eyes and mouth showing, gloves, armed with a black handgun, and carrying a camo backpack with the brand name “Field and Stream” on it.
