Media Release #2064, Burglary & Theft, Unknown Suspect – Confluence Borough, Somerset County, PA



The Pennsylvania State Police, Troop A, Somerset, continue their investigation of a burglary and theft that occurred at the Confluence Foodmart located at 511 Williams Street, Confluence Borough, Somerset County. 

On May 3, 2017, at approximately 12:17 a.m., an unknown suspect attempted to force entry into the building prior to finding an unlocked door.  The unknown suspect then located the safe and removed approximately $1160.  The unknown suspect then fled the store undetected. 

The unknown suspect is approximately 5’8” and 140 lbs.  The unknown suspect was wearing a camouflage jacket and hat, and dark colored cargo style pants.  The unknown suspect was also wearing gloves, a cover over their face, and was in possession of a crowbar.
