Media Release #2037, Retail Theft, Unknown Suspect(s) – Springfield Township, Mercer County, PA



The Pennsylvania State Police, Troop D, Mercer continues their investigation of three incidents of retail theft. 

Two unknown suspects entered the Nike Store located at the Grove City Premium Outlets at 1911 Leesburg-Grove Road, Springfield Township, PA, on three separate occasions (9/1/2016 at 5:19 p.m.; 9/8/2016 at 2:50 p.m.; and 9-11-2016 at 4:18 p.m.)  Each time the unknown suspects entered the store, the black/female would remove the security devices from the clothing while the black/male placed the merchandise in the bags they brought into the store with them.  Each occasion they would only spend 10-15 minutes in the store and would keep an eye out for employees.  It is believed they have removed approximately $2,002.61 worth of clothing over the three occasions.  They appear to be 30-35 years of age with the female having a tattoo on her right arm and the male possibly having tattoos down both arms.  The black/male suspect is approximately 5’11” weighing 175 lbs. and the black/female suspect is approximately 5’9” weighing 145 lbs.
