Media Release #2030, Retail Theft, Unknown Suspect – Corry, Erie County – Titusville, Crawford County – Cranberry Township, Venango County



The Pennsylvania State Police, Troop E, Franklin, continue their investigation of retail thefts.

On the night of January 22, 2017, the unknown suspect was in Corry and Titusville Wal-Mart Store, but did not take anything due to being deterred by store employees.  On January 23, 2017, around 12:30 – 1:23 a.m., the same unknown suspect was in Wal-Mart in Cranberry.  The unknown suspect entered the store through the front doors, proceeded to the electronic section, and put home security items and Apple TV items in the cart.  The cart was lined with poster board and clothes to conceal the contents of the cart.  The unknown suspect then went to a part of the store where there were no cameras and loaded the items into a backpack and hooded sweatshirt.  The unknown suspected then exited the store by means of the window at the Tire Lube Express area and fled through the outside main door of the garage area.  The unknown suspect was seen on camera in a dark colored sedan leaving the Corry Wal-Mart.  The unknown suspect stole $2,643.97 worth of merchandise.

The unknown suspect was last seen wearing dark pants, dark fleece or jacket, dark striped knit hat, and white/light colored shoes.
