The Pennsylvania State Police, Troop R, Dunmore, FBI, and several local Police Departments continue their investigation into several bank robberies involving the same unknown suspect.
Update - On Thursday, June 8, 2017, at approximately 9:30 a.m. a bank robbery occurred at the NBT Bank, located on Route 6, Archbald Borough, Lackawanna County. A composite sketch of the suspect’s face has been added to this case.
Updated - Bank Robbery occurred on January 26, 2017, in West Pittston Borough, Luzerne County, PA.
The robberies began in December 2015, and have occurred in Lackawanna, Luzerne, Wayne, and Monroe Counties. The unknown suspect is described as a white male, who is believed to be over 30 years old, approximately 5’8” to 6’1” tall, and a medium to heavy build. The unknown suspect conceals his head and face, displays a handgun, and verbally demands cash from the tellers before fleeing on foot. The unknown suspect has also committed multiple robberies at the same banks.
The FBI is offering a $15,000 reward for an arrest and conviction.
The Pennsylvania Crime Stoppers is offering a $5,000 reward for tips that lead to the arrest of the unknown suspect.
