MEDIA RELEASE #1978 – HEIKE LEICH, MISSING UNDER SUSPICIOUS CIRCUMSTANCES - WEST HANOVER TOWNSHIP, DAUPHIN COUNTY, PA

The Pennsylvania State Police, Troop H, Harrisburg, continue their investigation into the disappearance of Heike Leich; believed to be the victim of homicide. 

Heike Leich was reported missing by Joseph Hawthorne, her common-law spouse on August 8, 2007.  Heike was last seen in her driveway located on Fishing Creek Valley Road, West Hanover Township, Dauphin County, PA.  Heike left behind her ID, purse, and medication.  She was on medication for a mental health disorder.  Heike also spoke fluent German.  At the time of her disappearance she was 47 years old, 5’5”, and 190 lbs.
