MEDIA RELEASE #1944, COMMERCIAL VEHICLE THEFT - GUILFORD TOWNSHIP, FRANKLIN COUNTY, PA
The Pennsylvania State Police, Bureau of Criminal Investigation, Auto Theft Unit, continues their investigation into two Peterbilt rotator tow trucks. The thefts occurred between July 23, 2016, at 12:00 p.m. and July 24, 2016, at 1:00 a.m., from the Rush Truck Center located on Molly Pitcher Highway, Guilford Township, Franklin County, PA.
2017 Peterbilt 389, Rotator Tow Truck, black body, orange accents, and chrome boom cylinders. Last eight of VIN: HD368714.
2017 Peterbilt 567, Rotator Tow Truck, white body, green accents, and green boom cylinders. Last eight of VIN: HD368677.
*The trucks are valued at approximately $600,000 each. Total value is $1.2 million.
