The Pennsylvania State Police, Troop L, Frackville, continues their search for John Joseph Kamant, Jr.
On April 16, 2015, at approximately 6:15 p.m., John Kamant approached the victim’s vehicle in the area of 300 block of Bobb Alley, Cumbola, Blythe Township, Schuylkill County, PA. John Kamant reached through the driver’s side window and forcibly removed the victim’s cell phone. The victim pursued John Kamant in attempt to retrieve her cell phone in the area of Pine Street. John Kamant then pushed the victim down several flights of stairs and fled the scene. John Kamant was charged with Robbery, Theft by Unlawful Taking, Receiving Stolen Property, and Harassment. John Kamant has an extensive criminal history and is a known drug user.
