Media Release #1905, Burglary and Theft by Unlawful Taking, Unknown Suspect(s) - Jonestown Borough, Lebanon County, PA

The Pennsylvania State Police, Troop L, Jonestown, continues their investigation of a burglary and theft by unlawful taking that occurred at May’s Wok, located in Jonestown Borough, Lebanon County, PA.    

On February 16 and 21, 2016, May’s Wok, a Chinese Restaurant located in a shopping plaza in Jonestown Borough was burglarized twice in one week.  During the commission of both crimes, the unknown suspect(s) turned off the electric to the shopping plaza by flipping off the breakers located behind the building disabling the alarm system.  The unknown suspect then smashed the window to the front door of the business to gain entry.  During the first burglary the unknown suspect got away with approximately $1500.00 by taking money from both the register and the tip jar.  During the second burglary the unknown suspect got away approximately $100.00.
