Media Release #1892, Robbery, Assault, Theft of Movable Property, Unknown Suspect(s) – Hanover, York County, PA
The Hanover Borough Police Department continues their investigation of a robbery, assault, and theft that occurred in the 200 block of Moul Avenue, Hanover, York County, PA.
On Monday, January 5, 2015, at approximately 9:00 p.m., a 71 year old man arrived home when he was confronted and assaulted by two unknown male suspects outside the residence. The victim was then escorted into the residence where the unknown suspects also confronted the victim’s 73 year old wife, who was not injured; and proceeded to take an undetermined amount of money, coins, and jewelry before fleeing in an unknown direction. Both unknown suspects are described as white males with thin builds, wearing dark clothing and gloves. Both unknown suspects had their faces covered during the incident and were armed with handguns.
