MEDIA RELEASE # 1876, BURGLARY AND THEFT, UNKNOWN SUSPECT(S) – HARRISON TOWNSHIP, POTTER COUNTY, PA.
The Pennsylvania State Police, Troop F, Coudersport, continues their investigation of burglaries and thefts that occurred between 2/23/2015 – 5/1/2015 and 11/7/3015 – 11/13/2015, in Harrison Township, Potter County, PA.
The burglaries and thefts occurred at seasonal residences located on Plumstead Road, Harrison Township, Potter County, PA. There are four small cabins and two barns located on 179 acres. The property is located along Potter and Tioga County lines, and the New York State Line.
On May 1, 2015, the owner reported a burglary to one of the cabins. The following items were stolen: 17 mag, caliber Savage rifle with a bushnel scope and a black fishing rod with a Daiwa spool and reel. This could have occurred during the time frame of 2/23 -5/1/2015.
On November 13, 2015, the owner reported that two cabins had been forcibly entered, although nothing was stolen on this date. The unknown suspect(s) caused damage to both cabins. This could have occurred during the time frame of 11/7 - 13/2015. A neighbor reported that a white Dodge Neon with black graphics and NY registration was seen at the cabin during this time frame.
