Pennsylvania State Police Troop B - Uniontown responded on February 5, 1973, for a homicide investigation in North Union Township, Fayette County.

Stanley WARZINSKI, 65-year-old W/N Male, confronted at least one person who was breaking into his vehicle at his residence.

At some point, WARZINSKI was knocked unconscious and was dragged back into his residence.

He was then set on fire by the suspect who poured kerosene over his badly beaten body and throughout his residence.
