PA State Police Troop M – CIA Unit.

On 01/02/1997,  Jia Qiang Li, a 27-year-old Chinese immigrant living in New York City, was found murdered and found inside a plastic garbage can, down an embankment alongside Interstate 95 Northbound in Lower Makefield Township, Bucks County.

Jia Qiang Li had been shot and stabbed.

His body had also been intentionally mutilated to some degree after death.

It is believed that the Victim’s body had been deposited at that location several days prior to discovery.

Jia Qiang Li was of Chinese national who was part of an Asian gang from the New York City area, known as the Pell Street Flying Dragons.

Said gang was active in criminal activity in the Chinatown area of Manhattan in the late 1980’s and early 1990’s.

It is believed that the Victim’s association with that gang and/or his involvement in other criminal activity has relevance to his murder.
