Pennsylvania State Police Troop N – Hazleton Barracks - Cold Case

On Saturday, January 13, 2001, 17-year-old Shamar WASHINGTON was found deceased along a roadside embankment on Orchard Drive in Hemlock Township, Columbia County.

WASHINGTON was last heard from on January 05, 2001 and had been reported missing by his family on January 07, 2001.

WASHINGTON was from and was last seen in Williamsport.

The cause of death was ruled a homicide.

It is suspected that the homicide may have occurred in the Williamsport area and the Victim was transported to Columbia County.
