The Pennsylvania State Police - Troop E - Erie Station, continue their investigation into the disappearance of Barbara Jane Shumac. 

Shumac was last seen at her home in Venango Township, Erie County, Pennsylvania on December 16, 1982. 

She is believed to have walked away from her residence on Kimball Road between 12:00pm and 2:00pm on December 16, 1982 after an argument with her husband. 

There has been no contact from Shumac since that day.

Shumac was 29 years old at the time of her disappearance.  Her physical description is 5’4”, 110 lbs., hazel eyes, and brown hair. 

Shumac was believed to be wearing a dark blue snowmobile suit, blue jeans, and blue/grey snow boots.
