Media Release # 1945, Wanted Vernon Wayne King, Homicide – Harrisburg City, Dauphin County, PA

The Harrisburg City Police Department and the Pennsylvania State Police, Fugitive Apprehension Unit, continues their search for Vernon Wayne King.

                   VERNON WAYNE KING SHOULD BE CONSIDERED ARMED AND DANGEROUS!

On Saturday, July 16, 2016, at 3:20 a.m., Harrisburg City Police responded to the area of Crescent Street and Hunter Street, located in Harrisburg City, Dauphin County, PA, for reports of shots fired.  Upon arrival, law enforcement located a male victim with gunshot wounds lying in the 1200 block of Hunter Street.  The male victim was pronounced dead at the scene.  Arrest warrants have been issued for Vernon Wayne King and Kurt Darnell Tasker for the shooting death of the male victim. 

Vernon Wayne King is described as a Black/Male with black hair, brown eyes, and a thin beard. 
DOB: 6/30/1990, Age: 26
Height: 5’9”   Weight: 175 lbs.
Tattoos: Neck, Right Arm, and Left Arm

Vernon Wayne King’s last known address is 2707 North 4th Street, Harrisburg City, Dauphin County, PA.
