The Pennsylvania State Police Troop H – Harrisburg responded to Campbell Ct, East Hanover Township, Dauphin County on 02/12/21 at 1931 hours for a report of an attempted theft.

The pictured suspect is described as an older 50-65 year-old white Non-Hispanic male approx. 5’6” stocky build.

The suspect knocked on the door and spoke with a juvenile female and asked for directions to Harrisburg and left when she was unable to do so.

A neighbor encountered the same male and asked what he was doing and again he asked for directions. The neighbor told him to leave and he did and described the vehicle as a gold in color sedan, possibly a Buick.

Video footage from the complainant’s house shows the man prowling around the front porch area.  He peered into the front windows, then began to push a bicycle that was on the porch.  As he pushed the bicycle he looked up and saw the camera.  He returned the bicycle, then rang the doorbell and engaged the juvenile.   A sedan can be seen driving down the street past the complainant’s house.
