Pennsylvania State Police Troop G - Lewistown Criminal Investigation Unit responded to the Geisinger Lewistown Hospital for an attempted kidnapping that occurred on 09/28/20 at approximately 1400 hours on Delaware Ave in Juniata Terrace, Mifflin County.
The victim (W/H/M 17 YOA) was walking northbound on Delaware Ave when what believed to be an older model black Jeep Cherokee approached him, and a male inside the vehicle offered the VICTIM a ride.
The victim agreed to get into the vehicle. Once in the vehicle, the victim observed an unknown male in the front passenger seat, who was believed to be a shirtless “light skinned” male approximately in his 30s.
The victim stated the unknown male was “covered” in chests tattoos and, also had a face tattoo on his cheek.
The male asked the victim for his cell phone, and when the victim provided his cell phone, the male turned the cell phone off and stated “Don’t worry about it. Just sit back and enjoy the ride”.
At this time the victim was able to grab his cell phone from the male and jumped out of the vehicle as it was traveling on SR 103 N, resulting in injuries to the victim.
The victim left his black “And 1” backpack in the vehicle, which contained an HP Chromebook with owner implied number CBC-0330, as well as a red hooded sweatshirt, a T-shirt, and the victim’s wallet containing miscellaneous ID cards belonging to the victim.
The victim stated the male was being driven by a W/N/F, approximately in her 30s.
