ATTEMPTED BURGLARY AT RESIDENCE ON TYRONE PIKE - TAYLOR TOWNSHIP - CENTRE COUNTY

Pennsylvania State Police Troop G – Rockview responded on 9/4/2020 to the 5000 block of the Tyrone Pike, Taylor Township, Centre County for reports of a burglary in progress. 

Upon arrival on scene responding Troopers spoke with the victim who related that two white males were attempting to enter her residence. 

She related that one was banging on the front door when the other was attempting to gain access through the back door. 

When she yelled that she was calling the police the one at the front door fled the scene in a black four door vehicle and the male at the back door fled into the woods. 

A canvass of the area was completed for the vehicle and the male in the woods with negative results.
