The Pennsylvania State Police Troop A – Fire Marshal Unit is investigating a commercial structure fire that occurred on 09/12/2020 at the abandoned Clarksburg Valley Inn on 286 Iselin Road, Young Township, Indiana County. The cause of the fire was ruled incendiary in nature. The damage to the structure was a complete loss with an estimated value to be approximately $125,000.

On 10/10/14/20, PSP Troop A Fire Marshal Unit was notified of an abandoned barn fire located at 112 Tunnleton Road, Conemaugh Township, Indiana County. The structure was fully involved upon fire department arrival and the structure was a complete loss. The estimated value of the barn was approximately $50,000.00. The cause of the fire was ruled incendiary in nature.

Upon further investigation, a witness recalled seeing three males without shirts fleeing the area prior to the barn fire.

Information was also received that an individual on a bicycle was observed acting suspicious in nature and videotaping the fire.
