Pennsylvania State Police Troop E – Corry Barracks responded to O’Neil Road, Union Township, Erie County on Wednesday, 03/24/2021, between 1615 hours and 1625 hours for a report of a dog that had been shot. 

The victim’s owner advised that the K-9 German Shepherd Dog walked off the property without her knowledge.

While away from the residence, the German Shepherd was shot in its front left leg causing serious injuries.

The injuries sustained from the gun shot caused the German Shepherd to be taken to a nearby animal hospital and have that its leg amputated due to the damage.
