PA State Police Troop K – Media.

On 10/18/19 at 2128 hours, PSP Media responded to Interstate 95 southbound at Exit 4, Chester Township, Delaware County, PA for the report of an individual deceased in the grassy median that separates Interstate 95 from the Exit to the Commodore Barry Bridge.  Upon arrival, Troopers discovered an African American male deceased in the median.   Troopers observed the victim sustained a gunshot wound to the head.

Troopers conducted a preliminary investigation and discovered the victim operated a white Chevrolet Monte Carlo on Interstate 95 southbound and was traveling from Philadelphia to Chester City.  Troopers learned while en route to Chester City, the Monte Carlo became disabled because of a deflated rear tire.  While waiting for assistance to fix the deflated tire, the victim was shot and killed.  Through the course of the investigation victim was identified as Naython BROWN 33YOA from Philadelphia.
