The Pennsylvania State Police, Bureau of Criminal Investigation, Criminal Investigation Assessment Unit, and Troop A, Greensburg continue their investigation of the homicide of Samantha Joan Lang.
New information has been discovered on this case and a reward of $10,000 is now being offered on information that solves this 13-year-old case!
The victim, 22-year-old Samantha Joan Lang, was involved in the use and sale of heroin. Samantha had recently traveled to the Pittsburgh area to pick up heroin and began to sell some of that which she had just purchased locally.
Between March 26 and 27, 2007, Samantha was dropped off at her father’s residence by a friend in Derry Township, Westmoreland County, where she was later found deceased.
The victim’s death was ruled a homicide.
