PA State Police Troop F – Milton Barracks – Criminal Investigation Assessment Unit continue their investigation on Missing Person - Corey James Edkin – New Columbia, White Deer Township, Union County, PA.

New information has been discovered on this case and a reward of $10,000 is now being offered on information that solves this 34-year-old case!

When we originally released this case, the information at that time was that Corey James Edkin, a 2-year-old boy had disappeared from within his residence located on 2nd Street, New Columbia, Union County, on October 13, 1986. 

Corey was reported to have been in bed and was abducted from the home while a female adult cohabitant of Corey’s mother was home.  Corey’s mother had left the residence for a brief period of time in the middle of the night to go to the store. 

Upon her return, she discovered Corey Edkin was missing. 

That night, an extensive search was conducted around the residence and yielded negative results.

The updated information is that Corey James Edkin, a 2-year-old boy had disappeared from inside of his residence located on 2nd Street, New Columbia, Union County, on October 13, 1986. 

Corey was reported to have been sleeping in his mother’s, Debbie Mowery, bed prior to his disappearance.

Debbie subsequently left the residence, for a short time, in order to go to the convenience store for pizza in the middle of the night.

Upon her return she discovered Corey was missing from her bed.

An extensive search was conducted around the residence and yielded negative results for Corey.

A female friend of Debbie’s was at the residence during the time Debbie went to the store and other children were inside of the residence.

It is believed that a family member was involved in the disappearance of Corey EDKIN.
