On 03/03/2014 at approximately 0139 hours, Steelton Police were called to the 100 block of Adams Street, Steelton for a report of a disturbance at a residence. Police investigation revealed that Rafael Pillier assaulted two individuals inside the residence. As a result, Pillier was charged with two counts of Simple Assault (Domestic Violence). Pillier was transported to Dauphin County Booking Center to be arraigned.
Endangering the Welfare of a Child
On 03/14/2014 at approximately 1151 hours, Steelton Police were called to the Family Dollar Store located at 800 block of South Front Street for a report of a lost child approximately 3 years old. Through police investigation it was determined that the child left his home in the 900 block of Wood Street and wandered to the store on his own. Police did locate the father who was identified as Marzouk A Elnakib. Elnakib was charged with one count of Endangering the Welfare of a Child which was filed at District Justice Kenneth A Lenker 12-2-02
On 9 Oct 2013, at approximately 8:51 AM, A Steelton Police Officer found an unsupervised 2 year old child in the area of South 3rd Street and Elm Street. After several failed attempts to locate a legal guardian or a caretaker for the child, Steelton Police took protective custody of the child. Investigation revealed that a Preshes King was to be the responsible adult party who was to be taking care of the 2 year old child. After a period of time, King did arrive to the Steelton Police Stations where she was taken into custody without incident.
On 10 Sept 2013, at approximately 11:43 pm, Steelton Police responded to the 300 Block of Locust Street for a non active domestic. Investigation revealed that Edward Wilson III threw a 6 month old child into the crib during a verbal altercation with his girlfriend, then went outside and broke out the windows to his girlfriends car. Wilson was taken into custody at which time a small amount of marijuana and drug paraphernalia were recovered from his pocket.
During a domestic dispute, Khaliq Pridgen assaulted and threatened the mother of his child and another female. Pridgen also caused damage to a vehicle by throwing rocks at it. His small child was inside the vehicle while he was throwing the rocks.
Pridgen was committed to the Dauphin County Prison on $15,000 bail.
On August 19,2013 at approximately 12:30pm, the Susquehanna Township Police were called to the 500 block of Alta Vista Avenue for a report of an unresponsive female in the front yard with a small child crying over top of her. When police arrived they found Anne Dido, 52, to be passed out from being intoxicated while she was to be watching her 2 year old granddaughter. Dido was subsequently arrested for Endangering the welfare of a child and Public Intoxication. Dido was taken to the judicial center where she was processed and released pending a summons.
On August 3rd, at 0129 a.m. Swatara Officers were called to Wal-Mart, 6535 Grayson Rd, Hbg, Pa. 17111 for a report of a young special needs child left unattended in the store for 45 minutes. As a result of the investigation the child’s mother, Jinaira Rios-Ocasio, H/F/26, 1219 Cumberland Road, Apt H, Hbg, Pa. 17103 was charged with one count of Endangering the Welfare of a Child.
