As an expanded public awareness portion of the NLCRPD web page. A drop-down tab has been added identified as TRAFFIC STUDIES. This provides a series of current and archived reporting concerning traffic data collection and analysis by the NLCRPD for speed and traffic flow. Readers are encouraged to review this data to have a greater understanding of the efforts undertaken to assure safe travels within the NLCRPD jurisdiction and participating municipalities.

Please make sure to vote today.  Long lines have been reported with people generally well mannered.  Social distancing and masks are the norm.  Bring your patience and remember most people working the polling places are volunteers, so be nice.  Please try to park in designated areas.  There have been reports of parking violations that block business operations.

Utility crews performing construction on Sandhill Road south of Cherry Drive, Hershey have encountered a large sink hole. Sandhill Rd between Cherry Dr and Forest Ave will be closed to all north and southbound vehicular traffic effective immediately.

Anticipated re-opening of the roadway is scheduled to occur during the afternoon of Tuesday, November 3rd. Updates will be provided as they become available to Township authorities. ###

The Doylestown Township Police Department is currently on scene at two vehicle traffic accident at the Easton Rd. entrance to the Barn Plaza. No traffic delays are expected.

Hill School Rd. is closed from Rattlesnake Hill Rd. to Creek Rd. for power lines down in the area of 53 Hill School Rd.
MetEd has been notified.
Please avoid the area.

Due to powerlines being down Winding Rd. from Birch Ln. to Sunset Dr. is closed.  Also, Sunset Dr. from the area of 88 Sunset Dr. to Winding Rd. is closed.

At this time, we are unable to provide a timeframe for when the roadways will reopen.  Please avoid those areas.
