Southbound Bethlehem Pike between Line Lexington Road and Trewigtown Road is reopened for traffic

Bethlehem Pike (SR309) is closed between Line Lexington Road and Trewigtown Road due to a vehicle crash.  Please avoid the area while first responders are on scene.

The two rollover crashes that occurred earlier today have been cleared.  The 1300 block of Pleasure Road between Sunnybrook Drive and Walnut Street and Euclid Drive at North Eden Road are now open and traffic is flowing once again.  As always please be careful when driving upon the roadways!

Manheim Township Police are currently on the scene of two separate rollover crashes. The first crash is in the 1300 block of Pleasure Road between Sunnybrook Drive and Walnut Street. The second crash is on Euclid Drive at North Eden Road. Both roadways are currently closed while emergency crews work the scenes. Motorists are encouraged to avoid these areas and plan alternate routes of travel. Updates will be provided when they become available.

On September 11, 2019 at approximately 8:33 PM the York City Police Department responded to the 500 block of W Princess St for a report of a shooting. Once on scene they discovered two adult male victims.  Both were transported to York Hospital and both were later pronounced dead.   

The traffic signals along the 1300 block of Lititz Pike in front of the Golden Triangle Shopping Center, which were damaged earlier today, have been repaired. Traffic is flowing properly once again! As always please be careful when driving upon the roadways!

The traffic signal at the entrance to the Golden Triangle Shopping Center along the 1300 block of Lititz Pike is out. The signal was badly damaged after it was struck by a vehicle which traveled through the intersection. The signal will remain inoperable for numerous hours while repairs are made. Motorists should avoid this area, if possible, or plan an alternate route. Motorists who must go through this area should plan for major traffic delays. Updates will be provided as they become available.

Over the next couple of weeks Middletown Borough Police will be focusing on the safety of pedestrians in crosswalks and enforcing violations as it pertains to the right of way of pedestrians in crosswalks. The Borough of Middletown has many citizens that walk the borough for the purposes of work, school, exercise or just to take in the scenery of our great Borough. As a driver please be aware of your surroundings and give the right of way to pedestrians in the intersection when driving.
