The NLCRPD is providing an updated message concerning an advance traffic advisory issued yesterday in anticipation of heavy congestion with both vehicular and pedestrian traffic in the vicinity of the Lancaster Airport near the Warwick Township municipal boundary with Manheim Township. This increase in traffic flow, pedestrian crossing and parking related concerns are associated with a presidential visit to the airport. Traffic flow and impacts associated with volume can be anticipated in this vicinity between 10:00 AM and 6:00 PM.

UPDATE: 9:30 pm 10/25/2020: Parking information was just emailed to all people who registered for tickets. There is no parking on site.

On Monday October 26, 2020, there will be a large event at the Lancaster Airport. Expect significant delays and traffic disruptions in the area throughout the day. In addition, Airport Road will be closed from Route 501 to East Oregon Road ALL DAY. Parking information will be released by the event organizer sometime on Sunday afternoon. If you are not attending the event, AVOID THE AREA and seek a different route.

NLCRPD is investigating a missing person’s incident. MARIE DITMORE W/F 71 YOA last seen at St. Leos Church 2427 Marietta Ave. Suspected to be lost and confused due to ongoing medical issues. Last seen driving a black 2015 Ford Fusion bearing PA registration JZY4167. If see please contact call 911 or contact NLCRPD ASAP at 717-733-0965.

MEDIA RELEASE SHOOTING AT NOCKAMIXON STATE PARK

The Bedminster Township Police Department, the PA State Police, the PA Game Commission and Detectives from the Bucks County District Attorney’s Office are investigating a shooting that occurred in Nockamixon State Park at the Old Ridge Road access to Nockamixon State Park.  The incident was reported at 5:16 PM on 10/24/20.

During the daytime on Monday October 26, 2020, there will be a large event at the Lancaster Airport resulting in Airport Road being closed between Route 501 and East Oregon Road. We are expecting significant traffic disruptions and delays in the area, as well as a high volume of pedestrians. If you are not traveling to the event, please avoid the area.

Members of the Doylestown TWP Police are participating in Drug Take Back at Mercer Square Shopping Center, 73 Old Dublin Pike as well as at Doylestown Hospital, 595 W State State. Drive-through is open.

Mercer Square drop off is located in the top part of the parking lot near Weis Markets.

Doylestown Hospital drop off is located at the outpatient entrance.
