On 4/29/16, a theft from a coin machine was discovered at the Eden East Laundromat. A coin operated water dispensing machine was found to be forcibly opened and missing currency. Damage to the machine was listed at $500. The amount of stolen money was not determined.
On 4/29/16, an overnight attempted theft of coin machines was discovered at the Sundance Car Wash in Bridgeport. A coin operated car wash control panel was found severely damaged from attempted entry. Access was not gained into control panel. Damage estimated at $1,500.
