On 1/19/21 at 8:13 am, NLCRPD responded to a report of a harassment that had just occurred at Oceanside Auto located at 1013 Lancaster Road in Penn Township. John David Ortiz, 25 years of age of Lancaster, has been charge with summary harassment for striking the victim in the face with an open hand.
Patrol responded to Durham Place for a report of a disturbance. After further investigation, Douglas Gilmore was taken into custody for simple assault.
Patrol conducted a traffic stop on West Buttonwood Dr. at Creek Rd. for a stop sign violation. After further investigation, Amy Maertzig was taken into custody for Driving Under the Influence.
A complainant reported two suspicious vehicles backed in on Honeysuckle Rd. Upon arrival, Patrol located threes subjects in one vehicle at the end of Honeysuckle Rd. After further investigation, Daniel Guinter-Walker was taken into custody for possession of a controlled substance and paraphernalia.

On January 18th a garage on N. Pleasant Avenue in Dallastown was Burglarized. Several ATV's were stolen. Officers and Detectives recovered the ATVs a considerable distance from the garage. Please call the police department or York County Crime-Stoppers with information.

At least two unlocked cars were entered and rummaged through on Devers Road overnight into January 18th. Nothing obvious was stolen.

On January 17th a resident of E. Maple Street in Dallastown found four packages on her front porch, possibly stolen from someone's porch or mailbox. The packages contained four shirts/jackets.

Overnight into January 16th a resident of Wyntre Brook Drive in York Township heard someone trying to get in through the front door. When they checked, the door knob was loose but the door was not able to be opened due to a locked deadbolt. Please report any suspicious people in the area.

On January 15th at about 5pm three boys about 12 years old walked by a home in the first block of E. Howard Street in Dallastown. A neighbor saw them steal an Amazon package and run away. The neighbor chased them and recovered an empty box, the contents were stolen.
