On March 16, 2013, two Black males shot Renold “Rico” Julien several times at Locals 88 Bar on Poplar Street in Wilkes Barre, PA. One suspect is believed to go by Mitch or “Mitch Money”, last name unknown. He is described as a Black male of medium build with short hair and a beard. One suspect wore a gray hoodie with a white cap and the second suspect wore a brown coat with a white cap. The vehicle involved in the homicide is described a 2009 – 2012 Black Nissan Maxima with a sunroof and spoiler.

On December 21, 2012, at 11:56 p.m., Kevin Miller, 5 years of age, was struck by a motor vehicle while he was crossing West North Street in the city of Wilkes Barre. Kevin was crossing the street with his parents and his two brothers after leaving a Christmas party nearby. Kevin was pronounced dead a short time later despite attempts by first responders to revive him.

Gary Redner, 55 years old, was murdered sometime between 7 PM Saturday, March 8, and 6 AM Sunday, March 9, 2008, in the 400 block of Reber's Bridge Road, Lower Heidelberg Township.
